General

Stay Biblical has set itself the goal to debunk false teachings and proclaim the truth. Our aim is to hold fast to the Word of God, the Bible, and only teach what is written in it. Among all the false teachings that are circulating in the world, Stay Biblical sheds light on the darkness. This website was created for the sole purpose of calling the people back to the written Word of God. Therefore, everything we say is always underlined with biblical scripture.

Prove all things; hold fast that which is good. (1. Thessalonians 5:21)

Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the Lord your God which I command you. (Deuteronomy 4:2)

All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness. (2. Timothy 3:16)

Our slogan: “Only the truth will set you free”

We chose this slogan for a good reason. Nowadays, there is certainly no lack of preachers who proclaim their own man-made gospel while on the other hand we are desperatly searching for truthful disciples. No man-made gospel can save us nor bring us into the kingdom of God. The Bible even says that someone who proclaims a different gospel is cursed.

But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. (Galatians 1:8)

In fact, we didn’t even come up with the slogan ourselves, it is a phrase from our Messiah Jesus of Nazareth.

And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. (John 8:32)

Who is the author

Some people might be wondering who the author of all these articles is. And I guess this would be the best time to introduce myself.

My name is Jason Lauterbach. My motives for doing all of this should be very obvious to any true follower of our Lord. The Bible says that we should preach the gospel to all nations. I consider it as my duty to preach the truth to mankind and to establish the kingdom of God in our generation.

And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. (Mark 16:15)

I started preaching the gospel at the age of 17, after having believed in God since I was 5 and hearing his voice for the first time. Today, my purpose is mainly to expose false teachings, to correct them and to lead the people back to the written word of God.

Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock. (Matthew 7:24)

I am usually a very cheerful person who is loving and compassionate. But when it comes to the word of God, I don’t compromise.

What I believe

When I talk about believing, I mean certainty. Just to make that clear in advance.

I believe in one God YHWH whom I call my Father.

And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord. (Mark 12:29)

I believe that Jesus (Yeshuah) is the Son of God. And I believe that we must obey his word and follow his example to receive eternal life.

Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life. (John 5:24)

I believe that Jesus died for the sins of man like a lamb that was sacrifice as an Atonement in the Old Testament. I believe that anyone who claims this sacrifice is supposed to walk just like him and to follow his teachings.

He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked. (1 John 2:6)

I believe that anyone who has been baptized in the name of Yeshuah by water and Spirit can receive the Spirit of God and be led by it.

I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance. But he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire. (Matthew 3:11)

I believe that anyone who receives new life through baptism is part of Jesus’ body and therefore died with him.

Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection. (Romans 6:3-5)

I believe that everyone who has died is dead to sin and no longer serves his flesh.

For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection: Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin. For he that is dead is freed from sin. (Romans 6:5-7)

I believe that all of God’s commandments are still valid.

For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven. (Matthew 5:18-19)

I believe that sin is the transgression of the law.

Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law. (1 John 3:4)

At last, I believe that all people will be resurrected on the last day. Some to receive eternal life and others to be condemned.

Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice, And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation. (John 5:28-29)

What I don’t believe

I don’t believe in the Trinity or that Jesus is God. Because Jesus is the Son of God and the mediator between God and men.

For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus. (1 Timothy 2:5)

I don’t believe in worshipping of saints. Because that is idolatry. With a few exceptions, I do not believe that the dead are already in heaven. Because the dead will not be raised until the last day.

But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. (1. Thessalonians 4:13-17)

No denomination

I do not believe that any denomination or division of Christianity brings eternal life, but only the word of our Lord. Those who stick to it will enter the Kingdom of God.

Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life. (John 5:24)
